THE STERIONIZER

The Sterionizer™ brings the health and purity of nature’s air to office waiting rooms, dining areas, hotel lobbies, school cafeterias, sports arenas, and other indoor environments. 

 

These spaces have been forced to shut down or decrease capacity due to COVID-19, which is difficult to eliminate as an airborne particulate. By removing airborne contaminants like the COVID-19 virus, the Sterionizer helps make these indoor environments safe again.

3-STEP PROCESS

Equipped to safely remove harmful contaminants from the air, the Sterionizer wall unit improves air quality through three distinct technological features: Bi-Polar Ionization, a HEPA filter, and ozone treatment. The Sterionizer is the only product on the market utilizing this 3-stage indoor purification process for a deeper, more successful clean.

BI-POLAR IONIZATION

Throughout nature, thermal energy sources from waterfalls and ocean surf to lightning storms and sunlight strip electrons from oxygen atoms, creating ions that clean and renew outdoor air by removing harmful pollutants, such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. The Sterionizer harnesses nature’s ionization process to purify air indoors in the same way. 

The Sterionizer uses a self-cleaning Needle Point Bi-Polar Ionization process to split oxygen molecules into naturally produced positive and negative ions. These ions cluster around water molecules in the air, forming an oxidizer called hydrogen peroxide that breaks down the protein structure of pollutants, rendering them harmless and effectively “cleaning” the air.  

The Sterionizer circulates the air in a room five times per hour, continuously filtering and removing viruses, germs, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the environment. Remote monitoring verifies the reduction of VOCs and adjusts operations as needed to maintain natural, quality air levels.
 

FILTRATION
Filters with the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) designation are able to trap 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size. The Sterionizer uses an internal HEPA filter to capture these tiny pollutants in a fiber.
OZONE

In the stratosphere, the sun’s light splits oxygen molecules into single atoms, which then bond with other oxygen molecules to form O3, or ozone. Ozone protects us from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays, and can also be used to disinfect, deodorize, and purify the air.

The Sterionizer uses ozone as a powerful partner to Bi-Polar ionization. When the room is clear of people (ozone is great at killing bacteria, viruses and other contaminants, but high levels of ozone should not be implemented while the room is occupied), the Sterionizer generates ozone through a corona discharge method, clearing out any remaining pollutants. As ozone disinfects, it naturally decomposes back into oxygen (O   ), leaving no toxic residues and making the air perfectly safe to breathe again.
